Do Wireless Dataloggers Need 17025 Calibration?

What is ISO Standard 17025?

ISO / IEC standard 17025 specifies the general requirements for the competence to carry out tests and/or calibrations; it covers testing and calibration performed using standard methods, non-standard methods, and laboratory-developed methods. The ISO 17025 standard applies to all organizations performing tests and calibrations. Masy BioServices is ISO 17025 accredited through the stringent National Voluntary Laboratory Accreditation Program (NVLAP) of the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).

Do wireless dataloggers need calibration?

A wireless datalogger measuring temperature, humidity, or pressure can become less accurate over time, due to usage or stress. As an ISO 17025 accredited calibration laboratory, Masy BioServices can correctly calibrate your wireless transmitting dataloggers.

Until now, repeated calibration of wireless dataloggers has been an expensive and inefficient process. A three-point temperature calibration could easily cost more than the datalogger itself. Our challenge was to develop methods and standards to calibrate loggers, quickly and accurately, at a more affordable cost.

Masy BioServices calibrates wireless dataloggers accurately & cost-effectively.

Masy BioServices has developed a proprietary, efficient process to batch calibrate many common models of wireless transmitting dataloggers. Our custom-built calibration laboratory can easily and accurately calibrate up to 50 wireless dataloggers at one time. You can enjoy the confidence of NIST-traceable calibrations for your datalogger supply, with lower cost and faster turn-around time than ever before.

Centers for Disease Control recommends 17025 calibrations for dataloggers.

Guidance from the United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has issued recommendations and guidelines for vaccine storage and handling, Interim Vaccine Storage and Handling Guidance, that specifies the use of digital transmitting dataloggers calibrated and certified to ISO 17025. Masy's proprietary batch processing laboratory can calibrate your logger fleet, helping to ensure accuracy and quality.

Contact Masy BioServices for your 17025 datalogger calibrations.

Are you using wireless transmitting dataloggers that may be out of calibration? Are you storing or working with vaccines, and need to comply with CDC guidance? Don't risk the integrity of your stored materials — contact Masy BioServices today and learn how NVLAP-accredited, NIST-traceable calibration is the easy, affordable way to restore the accuracy of your wireless datalogger inventory.
